I’m a creative soul, baker of banana bread and lover of cats and live music (though generally not together).
I have a Bachelor of Design (with distinction), majoring in graphics and communication, from Griffith University in South Bank, Brisbane and I'm currently the graphic designer for Signtech NT, an established and highly regarded signage manufacturing firm in Darwin, NT.
What I'm listening to:
ALWAYS Josh Pyke and The Kooks, throwing a bit of The Cure and The Smiths in for good measure! Getting my country on with Luke Combs and Zac Brown Band.
What I'm watching:
I'm an absolute British Crime/Mystery addict, so Criminal UK is a current favourite - and I can't go past a spot of Bargain Hunt. I'd love to go to the cinemas at some point - it's been too long!
I'm keeping sane during the build up by:
Going for long walks (weather permitting), drinking plenty of iced coffee (oh! and water, of course) and appreciating my air conditioner.
What I'm working on right now:
Over the next few months, outside of work, I'm keen to bring my portfolio up to date. I'm also looking to take up some more personal illustration, typography and lettering projects. Meanwhile, practicing yoga is helping me to keep it together - mind, body and spirit - during these challenging times.
I think this series of photographs that I produced for an entrepreneurship and branding class really tell a story about me
and my personality. I love big, funky earrings, and the earrings in these images were all designed, laser cut and hand painted by me! The cape, noodles and bubble gum are also my own illustrative additions.
The beautiful background imagery is street art on Brunswick Street in Fortitude Valley, produced by @drule_art.
